Besides being an environmentally conscious company, an important element of our Corporate Social Responsibility is to care for the society. We strive to make a constructive contribution to the disadvantaged communities by supporting a wide range of socio-economic and educational initiatives. There is active participation from our employees for many of the community projects and programs. Our pledge to address imperative societal needs extends throughout our philanthropic outreach programs.
Blood Donation Camp:
As part of Venture Infotek’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, a blood donation camp was held on 9th July, 2010, at the company’s office premises in Mumbai (Malad). The camp was jointly organized by Venture Infotek along with Rotary Club of Bombay Mid-Town, Mumbai Thalassemia Society, St. George Hospital and Sarvodaya Hospital (Samarpan Blood Bank).
Venture Infotek held this camp for the 2nd consecutive year. 115 of our employees had participated in the camp last year. With requests flowing in from neighboring offices, Venture Infotek decided to extend the invitation to donors from other offices in their building (Interface 11) as well. The camp commenced at 2.00 p.m. and within a matter of 5 hours, 196 bottles of blood were collected for the cause of thalassemia patients.
Personnel from 2 blood banks - St. George Hospital and Sarvodaya Hospital (Samarpan Blood Bank) had to be called in to ensure proper care of the donors and smooth flow of the drive.
Donors received Badges, Donor Passes and Certificates appreciating the kind-heartedness and support towards this noble cause. The camp proved to be a huge success!!!
